System Requirements

Evidence requires Node.js 18 or 20, and NPM 7 or above.

Check your versions with node -v and npm -v

Note: if you are installing NodeJS for the first time, be sure to install the Long term suppport (LTS) version

Update to the latest npm version with npm install -g npm@latest

Git

Evidence requires git. If you do not already have git installed, you can follow the instructions here.
